Brunch wedding 101

This weekend our bride Y flew in from Oklahoma to plan the details of her spring nuptials to T.  One of our quick meals between meetings was over brunch at one of our favorite island eateries Farley Girls Cafe . She is self professed foodie, and as we grazed over mimosas she mentioned that brunch is always good, and immediately the light bulb went off "brunch wedding". So the past few days visions of a beach front brunch has danced my head and I thought it would be great to a few tips for  celebrating your moment.

Brunch :
A meal that serves and both breakfast and lunch

Tip #1 Consider the time that your want your festivities to begin.
Brunch is typically between 11:00 - 3:00pm, so your ceremony
start time should fall within this window.

Tip # 2
Brunch can also save a few bucks in terms of your food budget
( AND that NEVER hurt any one right ?)
AND it strays away from the "expected" evening wedding start times
That we LOVE !

Tip #3
Think "dainty" when it comes to libations
Mimosa's  - Bellini's- Punch (with a punch) - Bloody Mary's
again .....budget saving ...WOOOO HOOO

Tip #4
Good eats
interactive stations ...think waffles, omelets, maybe a beautifully designed fruit bar with granola
and warm doughnuts as a parting gift

What's NOT to LOVE here?
Still need a little PUSH to plan your brunch wedding ....here is a little inspiration for your moment
